More than one person has looked at the monitor in our office and asked why the picture was so much clearer than the one on their computer at home. A great graphics card is responsible for the incredibly sharp picture we have here. You can pick up any number of graphics cards at your local computer or office supply store. They run around $150, are easy to install and will make a tremendous difference in your picture clarity. There's one more thing that might make a difference in the appearance of pictures on your computer that you can fix yourself and doesn't cost anything. Simply right click on your desktop, click properties, then settings. Where it says colors, there should be a drop-down menu. If your monitor is set at 16 colors or 256 colors, change it to True Color 16 or 24 bit. Experiment with the different settings and see which one you think looks best.
