"Artists to the Rescue"

an exhibition by five local artists involved with the organization Independent Animal Rescue
April 6-June 15, 2010
Reception to meet the artists: Sunday, April 11, from 2-4:30pm
“Artists to the Rescue” is a multi media exhibition featuring the work of 5 local artists who have a passion for animals and animal rescue. Each artist works with Independent Animal Rescue by fostering, trapping and neutering cats, educating the public about animal care, teaching painted furniture workshops and by volunteering at adoption and fundraising events. On Saturday, May 15, from 10:30-1:30 there will be a free family art workshop led by some of the participating artists.
