His paintings include expressive narratives of his hometown Cheran, in Michoacán, central Mexico, and his immigrant experiences in the USA. The Friends of the Carrboro Branch Library and CHICLE plan to have lectures and programs associated with this exhibit both at CHICLE (situated in Carr Mill, Carrboro) and at the Carrboro Branch Library.
